The petitioner, who is a regular permit holder on the route Kanhirakolly-Thalassery applied for renewal of regular permit and the same is pending consideration before the RTA, Kannur. In the meantime, he applied for temporary permit and the same was granted. He applied for re-issue of temporary permit by Ext.P4 on the route Kanhirakolly-Thalassery in respect of stage carriage KL-58 K 6100. Though the said application has been made on 27-4-2015, it is submitted that no steps are taken and the temporary permit already obtained would soon expire.
2. In such circumstances, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P4 application of the petitioner, in accordance with law, and issue the same within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Writ petition is disposed of as above.
