JUDGMENT

The petitioner is the owner of a stage carriage operating in the route of Perumbalam - Edappally Railway Gate bearing registration No.KL 07/BA 1044. The petitioner also applied for one more regular permit on the very same route by offering another vehicle bearing registration No.KL 05/K 5627. The petitioner complains that the application for the regular permit is being unnecessarily adjourned.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to grant and issue temporary permit to the petitioner in respect of the vehicle bearing registation No.KL 05/K 5627 pending regular permit application of four months duration, within one week from the date of production of a copy of this judgment. Needless to say such issuance of temporary permit will be subject to preferential claim, if any.

The writ petition is disposed of.
