J U D G M E N T

The petitioner has approached this Court aggrieved by the delay in considering the application submitted by her for renewal of permit. The petitioner's husband was the holder of the permit and now he is no more. Ext.P2 is the application submitted by the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner for renewal of permit by effecting transfer in favour of the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
