J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is a stage carriage operator with vehicle bearing registration No.KL-10Z-9513 on the route Kozhikode - Thamarassery as Ordinary Service. He filed an application for conversion to his service as Limited Stop Ordinary Service. This was rejected. The petitioner challenged the said decision and as per the order passed by the Regional Transport Authority, the first respondent was directed to consider the request for conversion to Limited Stop Ordinary Service, if it will not affect the general public. As there is delay in conclusion of the proceedings, the petitioner approached this Court.

In that view of the matter, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the request of conversion filed by the petitioner to convert his service as Limited Stop Ordinary Service, in terms of Rule 130 of the Kerala Motor Vehicle Rules, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

This writ petition is disposed of as above.
