Ashok Bhushan, CJ Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader.

No notice is required to be issued to respondent Nos.3 and 4 in view of the order, which is being passed in this writ petition.

This writ petition has been filed alleging police harassment. Petitioners' case in the writ petition is that they had purchased a property from the 3rd respondent. It is submitted that at the instance of the police, the 3rd respondent is trying to get the property reconveyed and in that connection petitioners were called to the police station unnecessarily.

Learned Government Pleader on instructions would submit that a complaint was received from the 3rd respondent, with regard to which, the petitioners were called to the police station. It is submitted that the petitioners did not appear in the police station. It is further submitted that no kind of harassment
W.P.(C) No.14392 of 2015 -: 2 :- has been meted out by the petitioners and that the petitioners were called to the police station only for getting their statement recorded.

In the above view of the matter, we are of the view that present is not a case of any police harassment. The first petitioner, if so advised, shall appear before the police to get his statement recorded in connection with the complaint filed by the 3rd respondent.
