JUDGMENT
The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent has filed a statement on behalf of respondent No.1, contending that the water connection to the petitioner's house was disrupted only since the adjacent property owner, through whose property the water line was drawn, has objected to such drawing of water line. Such an objection was raised only when a leakage was detected and the officials of the Kerala Water Authority [for brevity "KWA"] inspected the property for rectifying the defects. It is also stated that the adjacent property owner had not given a consent and the connection was continued all these years because there was no objection raised. The KWA also states, in paragraph 4 of the statement, that an alternate connection is being drawn through the nearby road and that the KWA is hopeful of providing the water connection through the alternate route, within ten days from today. The submission is recorded and the writ petition is disposed of, leaving open the contentions of the petitioner. Sd/- K.Vinod Chandran Judge.
