Dated this the 19th day of May, 2015 J U D G M E N T The limited prayer of the petitioner in the writ petition is for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1 application for regular permit that has been preferred by the petitioner before him. It is submitted by counsel for the petitioner that the matter is scheduled to come up for consideration before the 1st respondent on 21.05.2015.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1 application preferred by the petitioner for the issuance of regular permit, at the meeting scheduled on 21.05.2015 or any other adjourned date, after hearing the petitioner. The 1st respondent shall pass orders in the matter at any rate within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
