JUDGMENT

Ashok Bhushan, C.J.

This writ petition is filed alleging police harassment. Petitioner prays that respondents 1 and 2 be directed not to harass the petitioner by calling him to the police station or visiting the home of the petitioner. Petitioner has made an allegation that a false complaint has been filed by the 1st respondent against the petitioner.

2. Learned Government Pleader was allowed time to get instructions. After obtaining instructions it is submitted that a complaint has been submitted by the 1st respondent alleging that the petitioner has offered to arrange a job for the 1st respondent and for that purpose certain amount was also deposited in the petitioner's account. It is submitted that on the complaint filed by 1st respondent, petitioner's statement was recorded at her residence. Learned Government Pleader submits that in the writ petition no such date has been given

WP(C) No.14747 of 2015 -:2:- on which the petitioner was called to police station or asked to come to the station as alleged.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not deny the filing of complaint by 1st respondent. His allegation is that the said complaint is a false complaint. He further submits that 1st respondent got some blank paper signed from the petitioner.

4. In the facts of the present case when complaint has already been filed against the petitioner in which connection investigation is proceeding, we are of the view that present is not a case of police harassment. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has not given the copy of the complaint of 1st respondent. Be that as it may, it is for the petitioner to approach the police authorities and get a copy of the complaint, if so advised. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is closed. Ashok Bhushan, Chief Justice.

A.M. Shaffique, Judge.
