JUDGMENT

Aggrieved by the non-sanctioning of a post of HSST(Junior) in English in the 3rd and 4th respondents schools, the petitioners preferred Exts.P6 and P7 representations before the 1st respondent. The limited prayer of the petitioners in the writ petition is for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts.P6 and P7 representation expeditiously, after hearing the petitioners.

I have heard the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners and also the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts.P6 and P7 representations expeditiously, after hearing the petitioners, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
