JUDGMENT

The petitioner who retired from the service of the 1st respondent University, having worked as a PS to the Vice Chancellor till 30.11.1992, is aggrieved by the non sanctioning of retirement benefits by taking into account the revised pay pursuant to certain pay revision orders. The limited prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P7 representation, that has been preferred by the petitioner, highlighting his grievance before the said respondent. 2.

I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and also the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent University.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made across the bar, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P7 representation, after hearing the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
