J U D G M E N T

The writ petitioner herein seeks a writ of mandamus for effective investigation in a vigilance crime VC 4/2009/VACB Kannur. Now it is reported that investigation is already over, and the VACB has submitted final report in court. In such a situation, this writ petition need not proceed. It can be closed without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to seek appropriate relief as regards the final report, if he is really aggrieved.

In the result, this petition is closed without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to seek appropriate remedies under the law as regards the final report, if he is in any manner aggrieved.
