JUDGMENT
The petitioner seeks monetary benefits consequent on his promotion as Assistant Transport Officer. The petitioner also seeks promotion to the post of District Transport Officer on the basis of his seniority. Ext. P4 representation put in by the petitioner in this regard is pending consideration with the respondent.
2.
I direct the respondent to consider Ext. P4 representation with notice to the petitioner. Ext. P1 judgment regarding his promotion to the post of Assistant Transport Officer shall be adverted to. Final orders shall be passed on Ext. P4 representation within a period of one month. It would be desirable if orders are passed well before the petitioner retires on superannuation.
The writ petition is disposed of.
