---------------------------------- W.P.(C).No.19188 of 2009 ------------------------------------ Dated this the 03rd day of June, 2015

JUDGMENT

The main relief sought in the Writ Petition is to issue a writ of mandamus commanding respondents 3 and 4 to postpone the counselling in respect of the lateral admission to B.Tech Course for 2009 till the result of the supplementary examination conducted by the Board of Technical Education in the month of April 2009 is published. 2.

By interim order dated 8.7.2009 this Court ordered that the 3rd and 4th respondent shall permit the petitioners to participate in the counselling forming part of the admission procedure of B.Tech Course, 2009, in the lateral entry scheme. But it was made clear that the petitioners shall not be admitted, except after getting orders from this Court and that such counselling shall be on a provisional basis. Thereafter, this Writ Petition was never brought up before bench for further orders. 3.

Today when the case was taken up for final hearing there was no representation for the petitioners.

Since the main relief sought in the Writ Petition has already become infructuous this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. ANIL K.NARENDRAN, JUDGE skj
