JUDGMENT
Shaffique, J.
This writ petition is filed alleging continued harassment by police. It is stated that the brother of the petitioners is the 12th accused in Crime No.21/2012 of the Excise Enforcement and Anti Narcotic Special Squad, Ernakulam. It is submitted that Ext.P2 notice has been issued to the petitioners calling upon them to appear within a period of 5 days. According to the petitioners, the notice is purely intended to harass them. They require the assistance of a lawyer to proceed to the office of the Assistant Excise Commissioner as demanded in the notice. We do not think that mere issuance of notice to appear before police involves harassment. There is no basis for filing the petition. Accordingly, the same is dismissed. Ashok Bhushan, Chief Justice.
A.M. Shaffique, Judge.
