J U D G M E N T
Shaffique, J.
The petitioner has approached this Court alleging harassment by the police. It is stated that on account of certain allegation against the 7th respondent, the police is unnecessarily harassing the petitioner and conducted a search in his premises. Though the Deputy Superintendent of Police was satisfied with his innocence, still the Circle Inspector of Police, the 5th respondent is harassing the petitioner by summoning him to the police station on several occasions.

Learned Government Pleader on instructions would submit that Crime No.550 of 2015 has been registered against the son-in-law of the petitioner, who is a money lender. The said crime is under investigation, for which purpose, the petitioner was summoned and his statement was recorded. The search was conducted pursuant to the investigation process and several records were also seized.

Having regard to the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Pleader, we do not think that any kind of
W.P.(C) No.15074 of 2015 -: 2 :- harassment by police is meted out against the petitioner. The police is investigating the crime, for which, appropriate measures have to be taken. The petitioner will have to participate in the said investigation process as well.
