JUDGMENT

This writ petition has been filed mainly with the following prayers:- i. To call for the records leading to the issue of Ext.P3 order and quash the same so far as it relates to the petitioner, by the issue of a writ in the nature of certiorari;

ii.To issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents to retain the petitioner at the present place in Thiruvananthapuram Region itself;

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned standing counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Government Pleader. On the strength of the interim order passed by this Court on 17.07.2013 which was extended from time to time, the petitioner has been continuing at the place from which he

was transferred. At this distance of time, in fact, nothing survives for further consideration taking note of the alleged contingency for which the order of transfer was issued. It will be open to the petitioner to take up the matter appropriately before the first respondent, in case of any further development or contingency.

Disposed of accordingly.
