............................................................. W.P.(C).No.15150 of 2015 ............................................................. Dated this the 22nd day of June, 2015 J U D G M E N T The petitioner, who is presently working as a Professor and Head of the Department, Department of Community Medicine in the 3rd respondent College, is aggrieved by the delay in approval, by the 1st respondent, of the promotions effected in the 3rd respondent College as far as teaching staff are concerned. It is pointed out in the writ petition that the 2nd respondent had initially raised certain queries in connection with the proposals submitted by the College and, on receipt of Ext.P3 communication from the 2nd respondent, the 3rd respondent had, by Ext.P4, clarified the position obtaining in the College to the 2nd respondent. According to the petitioner, all that remains is for the 1st respondent to take a decision in the matter of approval to the promotions effected in the College.
2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel for the 1st respondent. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to take a decision in the matter
W.P.(C).No.15150 of 2015 covered by Exts.P3 and P4 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after hearing the petitioner, if so required. The 1st respondent shall, on passing orders as directed, communicate the same to the petitioner immediately thereafter. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition together with copy of this judgment before the 1st respondent for further action. A.K.JAYASANKARAN NAMBIAR JUDGE mns
