2.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging police harassment. Petitioner's case is that at the instance of respondents 4 and 5, who are none else than father and mother of the petitioner, the 3rd respondent has called the petitioner.

3.

The learned State Attorney, has filed a statement in which it has been stated that the petitioner had received an amount of Rs.1,15,000/- from respondents 4 and 5 on the promise that the said amount shall be returned as and when demanded and till then he would pay Rs.2,000/- per month towards the rent of the house in which respondents 4 and 5 have been staying. When the promised rent was not paid,

respondents 4 and 5 demanded return of the amount and thereafter Petition No.147/2015 was registered at the police station. Petitioner was called at the police station on 14/05/2015. Police found the allegations made by respondents 4 and 5 to be true and directed the petitioner to settle the disputes. It is stated that, after closing the petition on 14/05/2015, petitioner was never summoned. On a perusal of the statement filed by the State Attorney, we do not find any case of police harassment in this writ petition. Hence this petition is dismissed.
