The petitioner, who seeks a transfer from the School where she is presently working to one of the three Schools under the management of the 3rd respondent in Kollam District, has preferred Ext.P3 appeal against an order of the 4th respondent rejecting her request for transfer. The said appeal has been filed before the 2nd respondent and the limited prayer of the petitioner in the writ petition is for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 appeal within a specified time frame.
2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as also the learned Standing counsel for the respondent Board. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 appeal within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after hearing the petitioner.
