JUDGMENT
The disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner has already culminated. The petitioner therefore seeks promotion to the post of Administrative Officer. The petitioner points out that he has been awarded a punishment of temporary payment of increment without cumulative effect. The case of the petitioner that such punishment will not be an impediment for its future promotion. Reliance is placed on Ext.P4 judgment in WP (C) No. 1646/2008 for this purpose. The petitioner has preferred Ext.P4 representation with the second respondent in this regard. 2.
I direct the second respondent to consider Ext.P5 representation at the time of the convening of the next meeting. The needful shall be done and appropriate follow up action taken by the first respondent.
The Writ Petition is disposed of.
