The petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection in the matter relating to conduct an annual general body meeting of the petitioner Sangham. It is submitted that respondents 3 to 5, who were earlier members of the Sangham, have trespassed into the hall and they are creating obstruction in the matter relating to conduct of annual general body meeting. We do not think that the police can interfere in such issues and permit to conduct annual general body meeting. The police can interfere only if there is any law and order situation. The petitioner's remedy, apparently, is to approach the civil court and get appropriate direction, if they have any dispute with respondents 3 to 5. Hence, we do not think that any direction as prayed for can be issued in this writ petition. Hence, this writ petition is closed.
