J U D G M E N T
The petitioner was before this Court claiming medical treatment as has been directed by the Special Judge (Special Court, SPE/CBI II), Ernakulam. This Court called for a report from the said Court on 28.05.2015.
The Special Court by communication dated 30.05.2015 inter alia stated so: "Subsequently I received a report dated 21.05.2015 of the Superintendent, District Jail, Kozhikode that the 2nd accused Abdul Kalam @ Azad, S/o. Ahmed Kutty was admitted in the Government Medical College Hospital, Kozhikode on 16.05.2015 and he had stopped the fasting at 7 a.m on 21.05.2015 and started consuming food. Before that another letter was received from the Superintendent, District Jail which is dated 16.05.2015 that on that particular

date the 2nd accused was admitted in the hospital.
I may state that the present situation is that as per the information received from the Superintendent, District Jail, Kozhikode the 2nd accused has been given appropriate treatment at Government Medical College as directed by this Court and the 2nd accused has already stopped fasting.
With respect to the harassment allege to have been inflicted on this accused I am awaiting report from the Superintendent, District Jail, Kozhikode and the said matter now stands posted to 15.06.2015."
