JUDGMENT

Aggrieved by the non-consideration of Ext.P2 application submitted by the petitioner for temporary permit, he has approached this Court.

2.

The petitioner is the registered owner of the stage carriage bearing registration No.KL-46/A 6606. The petitioner points out that one stage carriage bearing registration No.KL48/B 9547 is having a regular permit on the route between Thriprayar and Walayar and the same is valid upto 30.8.2015. The petitioner points out that the said service is not operating at present and that permit is under suspended animation. As the route became vacant, the petitioner submitted an application for substitute temporary permit and the respondent granted the temporary permit enabling the petitioner to operate in place of the above service. The present grievance of the petitioner is that though he submitted

W.P.(C) No. 15735 of 2015 -2Ext.P2 application for re-issue of temporary permit, the same has not been considered.

3.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader in the matter. As the learned counsel for the petitioner confined his argument to the limited prayer for a direction to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2 application, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2 application within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the judgment, after affording the petitioner an opportunity of being heard. To facilitate an early action, it shall be open to the petitioner to produce a copy of the writ petition as well as the copy of the judgment before the respondent at the earliest.
