J U D G M E N T
Ashok Bhushan, CJ Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

This writ petition has been filed alleging police harassment. Petitioner's case is that he is being unnecessarily summoned to the police station.

Learned Government Pleader on instructions would submit that the petitioner's wife, 2nd respondent herein initiated proceedings against the petitioner under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 as M.C.No.137 of 2012 and C.C.No.1788 of 2013. It is further submitted that on a complaint filed by the 2nd respondent alleging physical assault, another crime was registered as Crime No.1739 of 2015 and the petitioner is to be questioned in that connection.

Under such circumstances, we do not find any police harassment in the present case. Summoning of person to the
W.P.(C) No.15797 of 2015 -: 2 :- police station for the purpose of investigation cannot be termed as police harassment.
Hence, this writ petition is dismissed.
