Shaffique,J Petitioner has approached this Court complaining about police harassment. It is stated that, on account of certain disputes with the 4th respondent, who is the mother-in-law, police is unnecessarily harassing and is calling upon her to withdraw the case filed by her.
2.
Learned State Attorney, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner was summoned to the police station on the basis of a complaint given by the 4th respondent, who alleges that the petitioner was harassing her. A crime has been registered by the police and investigation is in progress and it is for that purpose that the petitioner has been summoned.
3.
Having regard to the aforesaid submission, we do not think that it is a case of police harassment. Police is bound to investigate into the crime. For that purpose, petitioner is summoned. Petitioner will have to co-operate with the investigation. In the said circumstances, we do not find any reason to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed.
