JUDGMENT

The petitioner objects to the drawing of electricity supply line across her property. Ext. P2 representation submitted in this regard is pending consideration with the second respondent. The petitioner points out that sanction under Section 16 of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 is necessary in the wake of the objection. 2.

I direct the second respondent to make over Ext. P2 representation to the Assistant Executive Engineer concerned. The Assistant Executive Engineer shall deal with Ext. P2 representation in accordance with law. The same shall be done with notice to the petitioner and also the beneficiary within a period of three weeks. The status quo as on today shall be maintained till orders are passed on Ext. P2 representation as directed above. The writ petition is disposed of.
