JUDGMENT

The case of the petitioner is that the R.C. Book in respect of the vehicle bearing registration No.KL-60-H-6055 has been withheld on account of the reason that the petitioner has not paid the difference of tax based on the enhanced rate.

I am of the view, notwithstanding the non-payment by the petitioner, the R.C. Book shall be returned to the petitioner forthwith. However, the respondents are at liberty to proceed against the petitioner for nonpayment of tax in accordance with law. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
