JUDGMENT

Ashok Bhushan, CJ.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader. No notice is being issued to the second respondent, in view of the order, which is being passed.

2. This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner alleging police harassment. The petitioner claims to be tenant of a shop room belonging to the second respondent. It is submitted that the landlord had filed a suit against the petitioner as O.S.No.102/2013, which has been withdrawn. It is submitted that the dispute between the parties is regarding tenancy and at the instance of the second respondent, the Police authorities have unnecessarily summoned the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that on a complaint received from the second respondent, the petitioner was called, but after enquiry the Police came to the conclusion that the dispute between the parties is that of a civil nature and no further action is to be taken by the Police authorities. It is submitted that the complaint has already been closed. In the view of the aforesaid factual circumstances, we do not see any reason to entertain the Writ Petition. The Writ Petition is closed.
