JUDGMENT
The petitioner who was appointed as an Assistant Professor in Commerce in N.S.S.College, Pandalam with effect from 28/08/2014 is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the 2nd respondent University in not approving the appointment of the petitioner, despite the fact that considerable time has elapsed since the making of the appointment. It is the case of the petitioner in the writ petition that, although the Principal of the college has forwarded the necessary papers to the Registrar of the University, the Registrar has not placed the matter before the Syndicate for appropriate orders.
2.
I have heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner as also the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. On a consideration of facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent University to consider and pass orders with regard to the approval of
-2W.P.(C). No. 16307 of 2015 appointment of the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after hearing the petitioner. The papers already forwarded by the Principal of the College to the Registrar of the University shall be placed before the Syndicate so as to enable the 2nd respondent University to pass orders as directed in this judgment.
