JUDGMENT
Aggrieved by the non consideration of Exhibit P2 application submitted by the petitioner, he has come up before this Court.
2. The petitioner is the holder of a regular permit, which is valid till 01.12.2019. The vehicle covered under the permit, namely KL-9/L 6117 is a 2003 model vehicle and is prone to frequent repairs and high maintenance costs. The petitioner has submitted Exhibit P2 request before the respondent for appropriate orders for releasing KL-9/L 6117 from the permit so as to enable him to release the vehicle from the permit in suspended animation and to replace the vehicle in the course of time.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader in the matter.
W.P.(c) No. 16431 of 2015 Considering the nature of relief sought for, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Exhibit P2 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
To facilitate an early action, it shall be open to the petitioner to produce a copy of this judgment, a copy of this writ petition as well as a copy of Exhibit P2 before the respondent at the earliest.
