Dated this the 3rd day of June, 2015 J U D G M E N T The petitioner who was working as a Library Assistant, had submitted Ext.P4 representation before the 2nd respondent seeking a continuation in service till she attained the age of 60 years in the light of Ext.P5 order. It is pointed out that the petitioner has since retired on superannuation and is presently out of service. Under such circumstances, the limited prayer of the petitioner at the time of admission of the writ petition is for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P4 representation preferred by the petitioner, seeking the benefit of enhanced retirement age, so that he can be re-instated and continue in service till 60 years.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Standing counsel for the respondent University and also the learned Government Pleader for the 1st respondent.

3. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar and taking note

W.P.(C).No.16465 of 2015-(G) of the fact that the issue with regard to enhancement of retirement age of the employees of the 2nd respondent University is pending consideration before the 1st respondent, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P4 representation preferred by the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after hearing the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed as above.
