Dated this the 8th day of June, 2015 J U D G M E N T The petitioner is an Executive Engineer of the Kerala Water Authority presently working at Thiruvananthapuram. It is his case that on account of a medical condition, he has to visit a hospital in Ernakulam in connection with periodical medical check ups, and therefore, he has preferred a representation before the 1st respondent seeking a transfer to Ernakulam. The limited prayer of the petitioner in the writ petition is for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P5 representation preferred by the petitioner before him.
2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as also the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P5 representation preferred by the petitioner, requesting for a transfer to the next arising vacancy in Ernakulam, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment, after hearing the petitioner.
