JUDGMENT

The petitioner, who is stated to be the senior most Vocational Higher Secondary Teacher (Full Time) at SNM Vocational Higher Secondary School, Thodupuzha, claims appointment as Principal of the said School, by placing reliance on various orders issued by the Government. On account of the delay on the part of the respondent in appointing him as the Principal, he had preferred Ext.P4 representation before the respondent. The limited prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P4 representation within a specified time frame. 2.

I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and also the learned Government Pleader for the respondent.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P4 representation, after hearing the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
