The petitioner seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider his application for temporary permit. 2.

The petitioner applied for the grant of a regular permit on the route between Thalassery and Sreekandapuram as LSOS, for which he offered vehicle bearing No.KL-13 J/4590 or other vehicle. The petitioner alleges that as there was urgent need, he applied for the grant of temporary permit by offering the same vehicle or other vehicle. According to the petitioner, there are no time consuming formalities in existence for consideration of those applications. Alleging inaction on the part of the respondents in considering the applications for regular permit and temporary permit, the petitioner has come up before this Court.

3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner

W.P.(C) No. 16754 of 2015 ..2..

and the learned Government Pleader.

3.

When the matter was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner confined his argument to the limited prayer for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of Ext.P3 application for temporary permit within a time frame.

Considering the nature of the prayer and the nature of the submission, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P3, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. To facilitate an early action, the petitioner shall be at liberty to produce a copy of this judgment as well as a copy of this writ petition before the 2nd respondent at the earliest.
