J U D G M E N T

Seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P2 application for re-issue of temporary permit, the petitioner has come up before this Court.

The petitioner, who is the owner of a stage carriage, submitted an application for re-issue of temporary permit on the route between Kureepuzha and Tanni Temple via Panamukku in the vacancy of defaulted service stage carriage bearing Reg.No.KL 11/N 3600. The petitioner alleges that no action has been taken by the respondent on the application. According to the petitioner, there is warranting circumstances for issuance of temporary permit on the sector. Hence, this writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

Considering the nature of the relief sought for, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

To facilitate an early action, the petitioner shall be at liberty to produce a copy of this judgment as well as a copy of this writ petition before the respondent at the earliest.
