JUDGMENT

Ashok Bhushan, C.J.

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition praying for police protection.

2. Petitioner submits that 5th respondent is the wife of the petitioner whereas 3rd respondent is the father in law and 4th respondent is the mother in law. It is alleged that the marriage of the petitioner and 5th respondent was solemnized on 12.09.2014. There being some differences, counseling was done but now the 5th respondent is living with her father. Petitioner claims that he has submitted a complaint dated 20.05.2015 which is produced as Ext.P3. Petitioner's case is that he has been threatened by the 3rd respondent.

3. A perusal of the complaint and pleadings in the writ petition does indicate that the issue between the petitioner and respondent are of matrimonial dispute and no such incident has happened which required any police investigation

WP(C) No. 16867 of 2015 -:2:- as on date. We only observe that in any event if any offence is committed or there is any attempt to commit offence, it is always open for the petitioner to file a complaint before the police authorities and the police authorities may look into the same and take appropriate action.
