J U D G M E N T
Shaffique, J Petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection. No notice is being issued to the 6th respondent in view of the judgment that is being passed in the writ petition.

Petitioner submits that she and her husband are living separately. Their daughter married a Hindu by religion who has now converted to Islam religion. Apprehending that the petitioner may transfer her property in favour of her daughter, 6th respondent, her husband is harassing the petitioner and extending cruelty on her. Though complaints have been given to the police to take necessary action in the matter, no steps have been taken by the police so far. Therefore, petitioner has approached this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, Sub Inspector of Police had summoned the parties and the 6th respondent was directed not to cause any nuisance to the petitioner.

Under such circumstances, we do not think it necessary to issue any further orders, as prayed for. However, we permit the petitioner to file appropriate complaint in the event of attempt or commission of offence before the Sub Inspector of Police and on receipt of the same, the concerned officer shall look into the same and do the needful.
