J U D G M E N T

Seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider the application for reissue of temporary permit submitted by the petitioner, the petitioner has come up before this Court.

The petitioner is an existing stage carriage operator on the route between Parippally ESI Medical College and Madathara. He had approached this Court with WP(C) No.19409/2014 for consideration of his applications for regular permit as well as temporary permit on the said route, which was disposed of directing the RTA to consider the application for regular permit and directing to grant and issue temporary permit. In the meantime, the RTA issued temporary permit to the petitioner after settlement of timing, which is valid till 18.06.2015. Now, the petitioner submitted Ext.P2 application for reissue of temporary permit, which is pending consideration. Hence, this writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

When the matter was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner confined his argument to the limited prayer for a direction to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2 in the light of Ext.P3 judgment within a time frame.

Considering the nature of the submission and the nature of the prayer, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2 in the light of Ext.P3 judgment, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

To facilitate an early action, the petitioner shall be at liberty to produce a copy of this judgment as well as a copy of this writ petition along with a copy of Ext.P3 before the respondent at the earliest.
