J U D G M E N T
Shaffique, J Petitioners have approached this Court alleging harassment by the police. It was stated that they intend to marry and Ext.P1 has been submitted to the Sub Registrar, Thrissur on 3/6/2015. It is stated that the 3rd respondent is frequently calling the petitioners and threatening them. This, according to the petitioners, amounts to harassment as the police has nothing to do with the marriage of the petitioners.

Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the girl's mother has filed a complaint before the police alleging that she is missing. On this basis, the petitioners were called by the 3rd respondent over telephone and the girl was asked to appear before the First Class Judicial Magistrate Court, Neyyattinkara for giving a statement. A crime also is registered as Crime No.760/15.

Having regard to the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Pleader, we do not think that there is any harassment by the police. The second petitioner will have to appear before the competent Magistrate and give necessary statement in that regard.
Accordingly, we close the writ petition.
