J U D G M E N T
Shaffique, J Petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection inter alia contending that his daughters, respondents 3 and 4, are threatening the petitioner. It is stated that petitioner has married another woman and apprehending that the petitioner may transfer his rights with reference to the property in his possession in favour of his new wife, respondents 3 and 4 are threatening the petitioner. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that a suit is still pending consideration between the parties. Ext.P1 is a complaint given by the petitioner alleging threat by respondents 3 and 4. Since no action has been taken by the police in that regard, this writ petition has been filed. 2.
Having regard to the nature of the judgment we intend to pass, no notice is being issued to respondents 3 and 4. 3.
Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, would
W.P (C) No. 17162/15 -:2:- submit that police made enquiries with reference to Ext.P1, but the house was locked. On an enquiry, it was understood that the petitioner was residing at Kollam presently. Having regard to the factual situation involved in the case, we do not think that any order can be passed as prayed for. We only observe that if there is any offence being committed or attempt to commit offence, on the complaint of the petitioner, police shall look into the matter and appropriate action be taken.
