JUDGMENT

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P2 submitted by the petitioner.

2. Petitioner is the registered owner of a stage carriage vehicle bearing No.KL-58 L 2314. The petitioner has been granted a regular permit on the route between Idumba and KuthuparambaThalassery with a set of timings and he is an existing operator; it is alleged. The timings of the petitioner were last settled on 23.5.2014. The petitioner further alleges that one of the timings of his service is highly objectionable, i.e. the departure time from Thalassery at 9.32. Therefore, he preferred Ext.P2 request before the respondent for considering the feasibility of changing the aforesaid departure time. However, the respondent is not passing any orders on the same. Hence, this writ petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

WP(C)17321/15 -:2:- Considering the nature of the relief sought for and the submissions made, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2 request within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after affording the petitioner an opportunity of being heard.

To facilitate early action, it shall be open to the petitioner to produce a copy of the writ petition and a copy of this judgment before the respondent at the earliest.
