JUDGMENT

The petitioner, who is working as a Driver in the 1st respondent University, has approached the 1st respondent with a request for regularisation in service in the post of Driver. The limited prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1 representation, that has been submitted by the petitioner seeking regularisation in service.

2.

I have heard the the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and also the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1 representation, preferred by the petitioner, at the earliest, at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after hearing the petitioner.
