JUDGMENT

The petitioner's grievance is that, though seizure of the petitioner's vehicle has been effected under the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wet Land Act, 2008 (for brevity, Act of 2008), proceedings under Section 20A has not been concluded.

2. The learned Government Pleader submits that the valuation of the vehicle is obtained and that the proceedings will be concluded within two weeks from today. The petitioner shall be granted an opportunity of hearing and the petitioner is directed to appear before the District Collector on 22.06.2015. Then the District Collector may hear the petitioner on that date or any other date convenient to him, as notified by the Office to the petitioner in person.

WP(C) No.17452 of 2015 The writ petition is disposed of, recording the above undertaking and with the above directions.
