JUDGMENT

The petitioners have approached this Court seeking a direction to transfer Mahila Pradhan Kshetriya Bachat Yojana Agent held in the name of the first petitioner in favour of Sasikala, wife of the grandson of the first petitioner. The petitioners point out to the Scheme and submits that there is no impediment in transferring certificate in favour of the aforesaid persons.

The petitioners refer to the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Union of India and Others V.P.Parukutty [(1997) 2 SCC 252] and also the Division Bench judgment of this Court in W.A.No1266/2013.

This Court is of the view that since the first petitioner's Ext.P10 representation is now pending before the second respondent, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider Ext.P10 in the light of the above judgments within a period of one month after issuing notice to the petitioners.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
