Seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider and dispose of Ext.P1 request for revision of petitioner's own timings, the petitioner has come up before this Court.

2.

The petitioner is operating a regular stage carriage service between the route Tirur and Pattambi touching Kadmpuzha in respect of stage carriage bearing Reg.No.KL-07-AK-2207. The petitioner alleges that as after the issuance of timings to the petitioner's service, a large number of services were introduced on the sectors of the route and some of the services have surrendered their permits, he has submitted Ext.P1 request for revision of his own timing suggesting clear gap timing with other services. The petitioner apprehends that if there is any delay in considering Ext.P1, the timings

proposed by the petitioner would be taken by others and thereby the petitioner would be put to difficulties. Hence, this writ petition.

3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

Considering the nature of the prayer, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P1, after affording the petitioner an opportunity of being heard, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. To facilitate an early action, the petitioner shall be at liberty to produce a copy of this judgment as well as a copy of this writ petition before the respondent at the earliest. Sd/- A.V.
