JUDGMENT

Aggrieved by the refusal of the respondent university in convening a Departmental Council for assessment of project report of the petitioner, the petitioner has come up before this Court.

2. The petitioner, an VIIIth Semester B.Tech (NA & SB) student under the respondent university is aggrieved by the refusal of the faculty under the 4th respondent to evaluate the project and the attempt to destroy the possible career options available to him.

3. Arguments have been heard.

4. As the 5th respondent has not evaluated the project work of the petitioner and as he refused to assess the project report, this Court is of the view that the project has to be evaluated by a Departmental Council specially convened for that purpose.

WP(C)17796/15 -:2:- Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent university to convene a Departmental Council within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment and to make an impartial assessment of the same thereafter.
