The petitioner has approached this Court challenging the revenue recovery proceedings initiated at the instance of the K.S.F.E. The liability is stated to be more than 18 lakhs. The petitioner's only prayer before this Court is to permit him to discharge the entire liability in equal monthly installments.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with the following directions :
1. The petitioner shall remit an amount of 2,00,000/- (Rupees ₹ Two lakhs only) on or before 29.06.2015.
2. If the petitioner remits the amount as directed above, the petitioner shall be permitted to discharge the balance amount in ten equal monthly installments starting from 20.07.2015 onwards. If the petitioner commits default in satisfying the initial deposit or remitting any one of the installments, the respondents are free to proceed with revenue recovery steps against the petitioner. To work out the above reliefs, all recovery proceedings shall be kept in abeyance.
