Seeking for a direction to the respondent to issue clearance certificate by keeping the regular permit under suspended animation without insisting on surrender of existing regular permit, the petitioner has come up before this Court.
2.
The petitioner is a regular stage carriage permit holder on the route between Chakkarakkal and Sreekandapuram in respect of stage carriage bearing Reg.No.KL 13/L 3536. The petitioner alleges that as the said route causes frequent troubles to the vehicle and it often goes off, she is intending to replace the above vehicle by a later model vehicle. She submitted Ext.P2 request before the respondent for release of the vehicle without insisting for the surrender of existing regular permit, keeping the same under suspended animation.
W.P.(C) No. 18367 of 2015 ..2..
However, the respondent has not considered Ext.P2 till date. Hence, the petitioner has come up before this Court.
3.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader in the matter. Considering the nature of the prayer, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2 application submitted by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
To facilitate an early action, the petitioner shall be at liberty to produce a copy of this judgment as well as a copy of this writ petition before the respondent at the earliest.
