J U D G M E N T

Ashok Bhushan, CJ Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging police harassment. Petitioner's case is that the petitioner and the 3rd respondent's family were in Kuwait and they were friends and now, he has returned from Gulf. It is stated that the wife of the 3rd respondent had borrowed an amount of `25 lakhs from the petitioner and she executed a promissory note. It is submitted that the petitioner was called at the police station and the 2nd respondent is asking the petitioner to reduce the amount of promissory note.

Learned Government Pleader on instructions would submit that a complaint was submitted by the 3rd respondent before the 2nd respondent, in which connection, the petitioner was called on 10.6.2015. It is submitted that the police, after enquiry, found that the transaction took place at Kuwait and hence, the

W.P.(C) No.18465 of 2015 -: 2 :- matter was closed and no further action is taken nor the petitioner was called thereafter.

In the above view of the matter, we do not see any case of police harassment in this writ petition. Accordingly, the same is closed.
