JUDGMENT

Seeking approval of the appointment of the petitioner as LPSA with effect from 12.09.2011 onwards, the petitioner has preferred Ext.P8 revision before the 1st respondent. In the writ petition, the limited prayer of the petitioner is for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P8 revision within a specified time frame.

I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and also the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P8 revision petition filed by the petitioner, at the earliest, at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after hearing the petitioner. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition together with a copy of this judgment before the 1st respondent, for further action.
